John Ang is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Data Protection Officer (DPO) at EtonHouse International Education Group, starting his current role on July 1, 2021. He reports directly to the CEO and leads a team of 20 staff members in the IT function, with three direct reports. John's responsibilities include overseeing the implementation of innovative technologies, enhancing cybersecurity measures, and driving digital transformation initiatives like Project Lumina, which integrates Generative AI into educational processes.


Today, the public sphere has reached a crucial point in digitalization, with continuous waves of technology hitting diverse industry verticals. In this fluctuating atmosphere, digital adoption not only demands infrastructural enhancements but suitable user training systems. John Ang, a motivated professional of EtonHouse discusses the strategic recipes diluting barriers of the cyberspace. Spotlighting the deep learning capabilities of artificial intelligence, he strives to ease the implementation process among teachers, students and their guides.


Safeguarding ed-tech cyberspaces
